I understand their was a change in the law and you could no longer ignore PPC's but they had to be appealed.

I am now reading o post on another site telling people to Ignore PPC's again
Is this correct?
Thanks

the law only changed in england and wales, so IGNORE is correct if it was for N.I. or Scotland

sometimes the devil is in the detail :)

and it goes without saying that IGNORE is correct for debt collectors

Assuming the OP's location is correct in their profile, then this was England. ;)

like I said , the devil is in the detail

he doesnt say that he received the claim, he is commenting about unknown posts on an unknown forum to an unknown OP, where we have no idea where any such appellant is located ;)

his post over there is just as ambiguous, plus the reply over there isnt correct either as it assumes too much and doesnt mention ignoring BPA members (or IPC members or CSA members) if the appellant is in scotland or northern ireland

clearly the thread and posts he refers to is not on this site or pepipoo, but somewhere else entirely

Barry Beavis was issued with one by PE in england 2 years ago, ignored it and so far has been to county court a year ago and to the Court Of Appeal last february, plus will be going to the Supreme Court in due course (maybe next year ?)

that should answer the question now more facts are known
