Debt-free and Proud!
Hi guys

Got a slight noice coming from what sounds maybe under the car, its a slight vibration/rattle noice when going over bumbs/pot holes and braking and sometimes turking around corners, it started about 2 weeks but today i got in my car and as just moving off it did the noice as well, it also did the rattle noice as turning the engine off when i got back to work.Sometimes the sound is a bit like when your on an old bus and its got that rattling noicey sound, it is a 03 reg so not sure if its just age and i dont think i have noticed this sound before i think its a new sond, also to add about 6 weeks ago I had to pull in onto a bit of a curb to answer an important call and as i moved off i did move off quick to get back out and the car dropped onto the road from the curb as well as later that day i drover through a horrid pot hole, the noice didnt start after that so not sure if linked as its about 4 weeks since then the noice started, I have my mot booked on 6th june so not sure if to leave it till see then or to go to a garage, my mot is 6th and its a week later that my mot runs out.
again i know nothing and i dont know anyone that does know.
thanks

No such thing as "just age".

Your post contains way too much emotional stuff and not enough paragraphs, makes it quite hard to understand the issue. (just saying)

My GF has a KA and one problem she's had many times is the exhaust heat shield coming lose and then rattling around, usually when labouring the engine (which she does ALL the time, due to having no tachometer) and also when turning it off.
