Not many doctors even know about my condition. Long QT Syndrome (LQTS). And yes cold does affect me, especially with having Raynards and Pernicious Anaemia. I didn't really want to post my exact conditions but if I can teach a medical professional then I will. The QT intervals of the heart are significantly longer than people with a 'normal heart'. Certain things trigger torsades de pointes in people with LQTS and the cold is one of my triggers.
It is not a case of putting a jumper on and a few blankets to keep warm. It is having a constant temperature so I don't go from differing temperatures.
I'm sorry if nobody believes me, but I can't see why somebody would lie about that!

I can't believe they haven't even offered temporary heating, it just seems so unorganised.
I will be delivering my doctors letter today so hopefully this will speed things along.
Surely not leaving you without any bathing facility for up to 8 weeks is breaking a law? They can't expect a family to use a sink for that time. I feel sorry for the people who don't have family or friends to go to for bathing.
Unless you're in the Highlands, I'm not surprised, it's late May!
