in Credit cards
I have an argos card with approximately £850 left to pay on it but the interest is 29.9%. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a credit card with 0% interest to pay off the remaining argos balance thus not paying any interest.

You may need a money transfer card as I have heard some cards do not do Argos cards due to their reference numbers having too many digits.0

If it's Argos store card and it accepts CC payments, then a Spending 0% Card is better.0

So a 0% spending card and not a 0% balance transfer card?0

Why pay the BT fee if you can avoid it?0

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I'm not too informed when it comes to credit cards. When I apply for a credit card do I see the actual credit available and interest rates before I get accepted?0

No, they will tell you the limit only after/if you are accepted.0

Still worth looking into though - even if you only get a limit of £500 you can shift half of it and still significantly reduce the interest.
Use the MSE eligibility checker to get an indication of which cards you are most likely to be accepted for before you start applying.0
