ship from usa to uk

I would like some help with this as well? I have a brother who lives in the US so I have the advantage of a real address where I can ship stuff. What I dont have is a good way to ship the stuff to myself. My brother's only option is to go to USPS who are extortionate.

I just when through some of the links above which provide addresses and a forwarding service. What I am ideally looking for is just a really cheap shipping service that is no USPS.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ask the seller not to use ebay's GSP. I often see amounts of $50/60 for an item that weighs less than a 100gs and can ship in a jiffy bag.

I suspect that as you are looking for a US company it might be easier to find a US forum and ask there about recommended couriers and such like. There might be one or two sellers here familiar with US companies, but the majority of the parcel gurus here send parcels, they don't bring them in.

Postage from the USA to the UK is Very, VERY expensive I'm afraid.

My Father is living in CA at the moment and to send a pair of trainers to the UK was £60!!!!

Get your brother to pop down to the postal office and ask them whats cheaper?

If a US business is shipping it then your restricted to what they use, unless you get your brother to buy it and ship it to you.

ParcelMonkey.com show a Parcel Monkey product at $20 for 1kg from the US to the UK, and a DHL service for $24.

Other places seem to have crazy high DHL prices from what I've seen
