Hi
My vehicle received a PCN last week, via the windscreen.
I've read the very useful info in this and other forums and am planning to ignore the PCN and any resulting correspondence.
Only possible waver to the above would be to write (following receipt of first letter) stating as RK I wasn't the driver and I have no obligation or intention of confirming who the driver was. I was wondering if such a letter is likely to stop the chain of threatening correspondence, or it's ignored and they will just keep pestering me.
Either way they wont be getting a penny.
Cheers in advance for any advice

No writing to them will not make any difference
why waste a stamp on the parasites , unless you are going to use "freepost"0 -
Nothing you can write will stop them pestering you. In fact the more often you write to them, the more they will realise you are concerned and the more they will write to you, hoping you'll 'crack'.
You have the envious position in Scotland in being able, as RK, to ignore the PPC with no comeback on you. Use that position! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

they will pester you anyway, regardless of anything you write
IGNORE is the best option0 -

Just collect their paperwork, file it away and smile as they throw money down the drain each time they try it on.:j0
