No Parking Permit

Options
Just received a PCN issued 7 days after the alleged breach of parking. I have reviewed the excellent feedback provided by subscribers to this website and, as a newbie, I will now follow the first stage of objection to the PCN.
My question relates to the PCN stating: 'issued PCN to your vehicle because it was parked in breach of the terms of parking at (place name given) that we are authorised to manage on the (date given) at (time of day given).'
According to the signage in the parking area, the 'breach' in this case was not displaying a parking permit. Would you have any further advice for not displaying a parking permit scenario. Thanks.

well a bit more info might help , name of the PPC , and type of location

also can you confirm if a ticket was placed on the car , and also confirm the time between incident and NTK thru the post

please do not reply to the ticket sender until you give the above info , and get further answers
  • PPC name: CPM
Type of location: car parking area on a business park.
No ticket was placed on the windscreen. I believe this was because the driver confronted the
'CPM employee' as he was taking photos of the vehicle. The CPM employee stated that the car parking space required a permit to park. The driver told the CPM employee that a toilet was needed urgently and had to park for a few moments to necessitate bodily functions. The CPM employee stated that he would not issue a ticket but the driver would need to write to CPM and explain that there were no other parking spaces available.
The time between the incident and receiving the NTK from postman was 11 days.

this is seriously taking the !!!! out of ANPR (AUTOMATIC number plate recognition)
  • I read one of the posts that stated the DVLA would respond to requests from just about any photo evidence.

The PCN stated: 'We have requested your details from the DVLA as the RK of the vehicle, through the reasonable cause criteria of pursuing an outstanding parking charge.'

As the car park was not a pay & display, how can CPM use this criteria to gain RK information ?

well it is pay and display , you pay for a permit and you are supposed to display it,

however , that is not your answer to getting off this trumped up charge

An ANPR system should show the car entering and leaving the car park , not grow 2 legs and a nokia label ,
  • That's a fair comment, although, there was no info on the signage relating to how a driver should obtain a permit before parking.

I will update this thread when I receive a reply from CPM.
