reminds me all the primary school kids who wear high vis jackets when they leave the school gates for a group outing. Or the school that forces kids to wear goggles when playing conkers. LOL

I once shared a day with some poor 10/11 year olds, forced to wear grey hats with yellow bobbles on for "easy recognition" during outings.

Far from 'protecting' them, the weird headgear provoked some very un-PC responses.

I've never seen so many punch-ups! :rotfl:

We banned conkers on an ad-hoc basis whenever the number of shoe-lace thefts rose beyond a tolerable level. "Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime!" :D

Otherwise, they were OK in my time at school.

High vis jackets make some sense, especially in activities like orienteering, where it's all too easy to lose a few, or even a dozen. :o
