I am going to sound a bit of a numpty I expect, but here goes........
My 'btinternet' emails come and go through MSOutlook, no probs here.
I also have a hotmail address. No probs using this through the hotmail website.
Question? Is it possible to use this hotmail addy through MSOutlook? Can I recieve incoming hotmail emails? Can I send emails through MSOutlook that will have the hotmail addy on them?
If this is possible, could someone explain very simply how I would set this up?
Thanks

Yes you can.. just set up a new account with the hotmail details on it.
I could be wrong but I think Microsoft have stopped people using Outlook to access their hotmail accounts unless you have been doing so for a while..0 -
Thanks for your reply.
I've checked out how to add the hotmail address, but what I wanted to know was how this would appear on MSOutlook.
Will emails be recieved from both addys and be on one list in the inbox? How will I tell the difference? Can I send emails that will appear to be from one address or the other and how would I select which one?
As you can tell, I'm a bit of a numpty with all of this and am trying to get my head around it all.0 -
You can't do it with a free Hotmail account, only a paid Hotmail Plus account.

Thanks for the answer and the link. I'll settle down and read it later.0

I've added 2 free Hotmail accounts into Office 2007 no problem, I remember being directed to the MS genuine software thingy and having to download Office connecter. Here is the details:With Outlook Connector, you can use Microsoft Outlook 2002, Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, or Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 to access and manage your Microsoft Windows Live Mail or Microsoft Office Live Mail accounts, including e-mail messages, calendar, tasks, notes, and contacts. /link.0
