i must give full marks to Amazon. In November 2013 I purchased a LG Smart TV. In April 2014 the TV broke down and Amazon replaced it.
In May 2015 the TV again broke and I contacted Amazon who referred me to LG. LG arranged for the TV to be collected by a repair company. They had it for a week and told me it was BER( beyond economic repair). The repair company delivered it back to me still broken. I contacted Amazon and they arranged to collect the TV from my home and gave me a full refund.
Well done Amazon

This is why I only ever buy from Amazon. Best CS in the business. If saving money by legally paying taxes elsewhere means a superior CS then so be it.0

It's a pity I did not buy Jack Stonehouse coffee maker from them instead of the jokers from ESC Europe Ltd who refused to fix a leaking machine, asked for it to be returned at my expense, then said as I lived in a hard water area ??? it was clogged up. They wanted £15 to return it to me still leaking!!
This was after 7 months. Amazon replaced my TV after 18 months no questions asked and even paid the cost of returning it0 -
I've always had excellent CS from Amazon, with various returns and communication with them always going smoothly. I tend to check whether the product is "Sold by Amazon" on the listing now for peace of mind, rather than marketplace sellers.0

Just don't do it too much otherwise they will close your account.0
