EIS income tax relief & transfer

Hi,
Looking for a bit of advice and wonder whether someone can help.
I have £50k in an EIS and the shares were issued in September 2014. My issue is that while I had income in fy2013-2014, I didn't in 2014-2015, so can I get the income tax relief for the previous year? I should be able to claim £15k if I can assign them to the 2013-14 tax return, but nothing for 2014-15.
If not, my wife is still earning, so could I transfer the EIS to her and she claims?
Thanks in advance.

Yep you can carry back EIS income tax relief to the previous tax year so should be fine to claim it against 2013-14 income tax paid.0
