Moto Roma SK 125?

Been looking for a cheap commuter scooter/motorbike, seen this and quite like the look of it!, has anyone got one or know anything about them as there's very little online about them, are they cheap and nasty Chinese rubbish?.

    They're Chinese and cheap

I've never seen or ridden one but the Chinese bikes I have had experience of, make me very wary of them.

Buy a Jap and be done with it.

EDIT: apparently they're assembled in Spain, I'd still buy Jap though :)
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Cheap bike at £899 brand new though, yes I want a jap bike but refuse to pay over £2000 for a new one and the second hand ones have probably all been thrashed and high miles, been looking at 110cc Peugeot vox (c90 clone) £1374 on the road, just thought the bike would have a bit more go and road presence, it's only for a 6 mile each way commute though!

before you buy it , ring any one of the main insurance companies and ask for a quote , a lot of the insurance companies are now refusing to quote on bikes from (or built) in china , because of quality and zero parts availability

There is a reason a new 125 is heavily discounted to £899, that reason is they couldn't sell them at or near full price.
So you need to figure out why they didn't sell before deciding if you can put up with whatever the issue is.

You don't want one that much then. Buy a !!!! Chinese one and when you're on you second one after two years you'd wish you'd bought a jap one.

Agreed. I would have almost any 10-year-old Jap bike in preference to a brand-new Chinese bike. I have never owned one, but I have seen a few and talked to owners. Rusty within months, parts falling off, no spares availability, local mechanics refusing to touch them - absolute heartbreak. On the other hand, a 10-year-old Honda 125 will (within reason) look good and go as well as it ever did. And if it doesn't, there are parts and people available to fix them.
If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.
