Will made, my name in it, step mother failed to tell me! ...

I have just found out my dad left me all his stocks and shares. My step mother was in charge of giving out everything in dads will, along with other members of her family. She made no mention of this to me,
Suggested next steps?

Have you got a copy of the will so you know exactly what it says?

If you have definitely been left an inheritance, write to the executor and ask when you can expect to receive the money.

I'd add to that, by enclosing a copy of you will you have - with the relevant parts highlighted - so she knows you know! She then has to send you a copy of a different later will, of deal with the shares for you - either be sold or transferred.

This is a copy of his last will, however my main concern is this was 14 years ago, if anything was left would she have it by now?

Could he have made a more recent will than this?

How old are you? I mean, could she be waiting until you are a particular age to make the payout?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I am 44! No part of the will stated an age, one part said sale of estate was to be kept in trust for me, again no age stated

Then write to her in her role as executor and ask when you can expect your inheritance.
