123 Santander Current Account

I've just set up a 123 account and need to make the monthly payment from my account at Lloyds.
If I set up a standing order will it arrive at Santander on the same day that it leaves Lloyds?
Got to be there by end of next working day, in practise within two hours and nearly always instant .0 -
I've arranged to have my Lloyds Classic current account transferred to a 123 Santander current account at a later date via the Current Account Switch Service.
What do I need to do about my Lloyds credit card, as I haven't asked for a Santander one yet?
Thanks.0 -

You can keep it or change it as you like- it's not tied to your Lloyds current account.Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -
If I get accepted for a Santander account, will I be able to add my Lloyds credit card to online banking, so that I can monitor it online?0

You won't be able to see it on Santander online.
You should still be able to see it as normal on Lloyds online - they will close your current account, not the online access.Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -

Can I check, do the direct debits have to go out every month as I have a quarterly one?0

Long answer: If DDs are required to pay out each month to meet some condition or other (ie the £5 Reward payment with Halifax, or 4% interest with Lloyds), the account T&Cs will clearly say so.
The Santander T&Cs merely say that 2 DDs must be "set up". However, it makes sense to generate cashback where possible on utility DDs.0 -

No, one of mine is annual, has never paid out but still OK.
The T&Cs say DDs must be set up not neccessarily paid out.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0
