Hi all,

We have a team PC at work and are wondering how we can Iog off from forums on MSE ?

We use Chrome as our browser. Does anyone know how to change the font size as well when posting on MSE as we are finding it very difficult to read our forum posts before we submit them.

Thanks

To log off the MSE forum, click the Log Out link on the green menu bar (near the top of the page) just above where it says "Welcome, (your user name). You last visited:..... "?

To increase the font size, in Chrome you click on the menu icon at the top right of your browser window (the three horizontal lines), in the menu that appears, click the + next to Zoom.

Use a portable browser on a USB drive, that way you leave no history and no login credentials behind.

    Or use Private Browsing.

I don't use Chrome but on other browsers it's Ctrl-Shift-P to open up a private session, and there's a good chance this works on Chrome as well. If not it will be on a menu somewhere, I guess.

Then it should forget everything when you close the session, including MSE logins etc.

To increase the visual size of text in a browser, Office programs, and no doubt elsewhere, hold down a Ctrl key and roll the mouse button up. Alternatively, on a PC keyboard. hold down a Ctrl Key and press the + key on the numeric keypad (when the numeric light is on).

To return to normal size text, hold down a Ctrl Key and press 0 on the numeric keypad.

I leave it as an exercise to the reader to determine how you can reduce the size of the text, having previously increased it!
