Chrome removing bars at bottom of homepage?

I have some annoying bars at the bottom of my google chrome homepage (at least I think they are 3 different bars). One says change background image, the other one is Privacy-Terms-Settings, and the last one is Show doodle icon, Advertising-Business-About.
I wouldn't mind keeping them if the bars were discrete, but they take a big part of the page, and are bigger than the bars at the top.
Is there any way I can shrink/remove those bars?
