european banks accounts for non-residents

which european banks can open an account for non-residents in euro? with the same governmental securities and guarantees for the deposits?

    This board is about current accounts. You should ask savings account questions on the savings board.

    Although the answer will be essentially the same for savings accounts as for current accounts. Also, Euro interest rates are even worse than the UK ones, with some banks even charging you for depositing money with them now.
