top of wall painted

Hey
The landlord of our neighbours is having the house painted.
They have also had the wall between our house and there's painted. This is OUR wall, the deeds say as you look at the house, the front and back boundary is our responsibility.
In order to match the new house colour (grey) they have painted the top of the wall that colour. It looks horrible.
Where do we stand in this? Do we have the right go ask the landlord to repaint this?
Thanks

Not necessarily, you need to establish who owns the wall before you start making demands to have it repainted.0 -

Also in order to paint the fence they would of had to come into our property and have also left our flower bed with lots of chipped off wall when they cleaned it off.Oxfordmark

Responsibility for the boundary (as shown on the deeds) and ownership of a wall which stands on, or near, that boundary are two completely different things.
The wall is owned by the owner of whichever property paid for it to be built and that could be either property , or even both.
It could also be affected by whose land the wall stands on.0
