I'll bet 99.9% of property photos also show furniture, knick-knacks, kitchen appliances, curtains and blinds, etc., that aren't to be included in the sale ....

I view EA photographers much as I view the vintage Hollywood cameramen - strategic pot plants, Vaseline on the lens and shrewd lighting made every duckling g photograph like a swan.
If I really want to know roughly how out of whack the EA photos are, I check google street view!
Besides, EA shots give a might-possibly idea, whereas viewing can remind you property currently occupied by family with toddlers, dogs & other hazards...
Boots on the ground, ears open & check the local pub...
  • I fully agree with "check the local pub"......but there is a slight snag to doing that if you are a lone woman (ie rather than a man or a couple). I could never quite see me heading into a pub on my own somehow and hoping to get in touch with the local grapevine that way (not a problem in your own area - but definitely one in a strange area).

By now, a friend has commented I might as well be a reporter for the local newspaper - but it does take a while to get "tapped into" the grapevine without that possible pub visit.
