Paying for credit score with debit card

Good afternoon
I'm trying to fix my finances. I've decided to check my credit score however it seems like I can't pay for it with my Metro Bank MasterCard debit card. Do I need credit card to register with experian and equifax?
thank you for your answers

Don't waste your money...lucky it doesn't work as it's not worth it.

Register with Noddle and check your credit history for free.

You can also get a copy of your credit report by post from Experian and Equifax for £2.

With these reports you can figure out if you are credit worthy or not. Every bank/supplier has different criteria as to who they lend to a "score" won't help you.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

My credit score is very poor

No one in the UK has a single or central "score".

Best to have a read of this MSE article for general tips & information about how credit profiling works and how to boost your general credit worthiness.
