Had a quote from a plasterer for £10 per Sqr meter. Just wanted to know how this compared to the going market rate?

One whole bedroom, walls and ceiling, two other small bedroom ceilings, just skimming over artex, and skimming other few walls. Nothing is back to brick or anything like that.

I've just had a quote for £37 per sq metre for skimming Artex ceilings, so yours sounds cheap. However, mine was via Wickes, and I think it was much too expensive. Having looked around, I think £12-£15 per sq metre is about right, but it may depend on your geographical area. I'm in the South.
