Natwest reporting old address to CRAs

Hi All,

I moved house in March and took out a new Mortgage with Natwest. They were not the lender for my old house.

My credit files are updated but strangely Natwest is reporting my old address to the CRAs.

Is this worth reporting to Natwest?

If you mean they are only reporting the old address then yes I definitely would. Not least so that you get any post sent to you from them.

If they are reporting the new address in the account section but also showing the old address as a previous address then no.

I'm getting post from them and my online account shows the correct address, as of course did all of my mortgage documentation.

However, in the financial accounts section of my credit files, it lists my old address only.

I'd chase them on it.

They may sort it eventually but easier to deal with now rather than say when you find it may be affecting your chance of getting accepted for something.

Are you sure they are not just reporting your old address as a linked address.

Do you have any other accounts with NatWest? Do they all show your current address.

If you have a credit card for example you have to change the address separately.

Nope, it's my mortgage account address according to the CRAs.
