Single entry/exit point? Could you have left in a way that wasn't recorded the first time? Any witness at all you can get a statement from about you being elsewhere?

Mr M Schwartz signing it is good, he's yet to be verified and he seems to spell his name pretty inconsistently. No-one is entirely convinced he's really involved, and CEL have been kicked out of cases for not providing his information.

Thank you all for the advice. Will post off my NB9 and hope not to hear from them again. I refuse to give in to their bullying tactics!! Also encouraging to know that Mr Schwartz is not yet verified! I will be able to collect witness statements from friends whom I had lunch with that day and there is a separate entrance and separate exit to the car park so I fail to understand how they appear unable to locate the fact that I left and returned!

They probably can, if they examine the periods manually but I suspect they can see no advantage to themselves and can't be bothered.

Include any witness statements from your friends with any defence and also anything relevant on double dipping you can glean from the web.

Check Parking Prankster's blogs ... he has a good article regarding ANPR cameras and double-dipping.

It was in November 2012 when I used their car park and the cashpoint is located in the car park so unfortunately doesn't offer any evidence that I left the car park and returned later that day.

You will however, have a record of this on your bank statement for that period.

I think you've misunderstood ... usage of the cashpoint would just show that OP's car was there, and NOT that the car had left the car park and returned later.
