Can a single, unbroken yellow line have different parking restrictions? I parked on a single yellow line and read one of the signs, which was fine but i've been given a ticket for the other lampost?
Is this a grounds for appeal at all as I thought there should be a correlation between them unless there is a T-Bar to show where the restriction begins/ends and there isn't any. Perhaps it was an error or is this actually allowed

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate).

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
