Hi all
I'm looking to move to Firefox as it's supposed to be better than IE.
Now, just a couple of questions before I take the plunge :-
1) How easy is it to move all my favourites from IE to Firefox?
2) How would I set it as me fefault browser?

1. If i remember correctly it will ask if you want to do this at installation/setup
2. It will ask you if you want to make it your default browser, it's literally as easy as clicking yes/ok."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Very easy, first time you install firefox it asks you whether you would like to import your favourites from IE2) How would I set it as me fefault browser?
I think it may offer this during installation but if not go to 'tools' 'options' and in the first tab (main) there is an option at the bottom to make sure ff is the default browser on start up, tick it, and check if it is and make it so if not.
Then goto IE tools options and untick the equivalent box so that it doesn't check if it is the default browser.0 -

Agreed but it's not idiot-proof. You will have to learn how to use it to get the best out of it.

Just remember once you've got it installed you can easily change between the different browsers so you've not "lost" anything. Although IE is currently my default I have both firefox and opera installed as well."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

You don't have to " move " you can just use Firefox as well as IE, I use Firefox, Opera and IE6 ( I hate IE7 ).;)0 -
You never know, your Thanks button may actually work in Firefox!
So it does (!!)
On a slightly more serious note, in IE7 you can have the favourites attached to a small gold star at the top left corner. Is this or anything similar available in Firefox. I've had a look in the Help files, but couldn't find anything.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
