Hi,
Firstly i'm not sure if this is the right location so please move if not. I got back after a break yesterday and i was going to try and put a claim in for compensation as we had to divert on the why to our destination for aircraft repairs which took over 4 hours and i am of the understanding if your delayed more than 3 hours you can claim is this correct?
The complication comes on the journey home last night we were delayed by an hour which i understand i couldn't claim from but on arrival back into Gatwick i was informed they had forgotten to put my luggage on the plane. Which i'm still currently waiting to arrive at my home address. Can i ask for compensation for the delay of the luggage from the airline as well or would that be a travel insurance issue? Also if i can claim from the airline could i claim for both together or would they be dealt with separately?
The airline was British Airlines by the way, first time i've ever flown with them and was not impressed after using all the budget airlines and virgin previously without any issues at all.

Thanks, think i will just write BA a letter complaining about the service received and see if it gets me anywhere. I doubt it but worth a moan at them i guess.0
