B.O.S Vantage question

ok here is the story, I had all my eggs in one halifax basket until I discovered this site, I had an Halifax current account and A Halifax cash ISA, the amount of money I had in each account is not really relevant, but I had most of it in the ISA.

I then opened a TSB classic plus and a Nationwide flexdirect, maxed them both out and upgraded my Halifax current account to reward

Last week I opened a B.O.S Vantage account online with the intention
of maxing that out too, (£5000), so today when I got home from work I received my B.O.S card, Pin and activation code - All good.

I enter the activation code on the B.O.S website and it brings up my Halifax accounts to as they are all under Lloyds Bank group.

So the question(s) is... Does it matter that I fund my B.O.S account from my Halifax? can I cycle the monthly £1000 deposit from my Halifax to B.O.S?

the reason I chose tsb and nationwide was the interest rates, the reason I chose B.O.S was the interest rate plus no need for dd's.
I am aware I can open 3x B.O.S, then I may open a Tesco account, I think I read somewhere on here that tesco accounts can help with dd's for other accounts such as club Lloyds wich requires two dd's (I think), so can someone explain how that works for my please? so then I can get a tesco and a club Lloyds instead of two more B.O.S. - Thanks to all who helps.

yes you can cycle from Halifax to BOS.

open a Tesco Saver and a Tesco Internet Access. Create a DD in each to pull a few pound each month from Lloyds, Halifax, Santander etc. Every month move the money back from Tesco to wherever.

Not under the current T&Cs but you need to be on the lookout for any T&C changes.

    No, and yes...in that order.

Tesco current accounts are good for 3% AER, and can be better than BoS for some people with less savings (as there's no min £3K balance like there is with BoS Vantage). However, my advice would be to open 3 x BoS Vantage while you still can, even if you can't fill them yet. No inside knowledge...just common sense and forward planning!

Tesco savings accounts are good for DDs.

    As simple as that really.
