Decent deal on the Amazon TV stick. Similar to Chromecast but does come with a remote control so can be a bit more 'standalone'.

Has anyone got one of these. I presume it just connects up to the internet via your Wifi , so reliability of the connection depends on your network and how far away you are from your hub ?0

Can I ask how far you are away from your hub ? I have seen reviews that say they have problems when they are some distance away ,or on different floors - even when other wifi devices work okay .0 -
You can get wifi booster plugs, that go into a normal wall socket. I have my router in different part of home, serves the youview box fine!
This is first find, on google- think you may be able to get much cheaper! https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=wifi+extender+plugs&tbm=shop&spd=146710306430646184breathe in, breathe out- You're alive! Everything else is a bonus, right? RIGHT??0 -
Ordered one yesterday through tesco
Going to get Netflix or Amazon prime with instant films what's better?0 -
I think Netflix is better they usually have a free month's trial. I did a free trial of Amazon prime just before Xmas and didn't rate it that much. I'm on my phone just now so can't check if there any free trials going at the moment.Booo!!!0
