Deposits for Overseas Wedding

We planning to get married in Cyprus in July 2016. The hotel that we are holding it at has now asked us to pay a deposit of Euro 2,000, out of a total anticipated cost of Euro 8,500. If we pay the deposit using a Credit Card, either in part or in full, with the remainder paid after the wedding using cash/debit card, will we be eligible for Section 75 protection for the whole value of the deposit in the event of the hotel going bust or failing to fulfil the booking?

Yes, so long as the total cost of the wedding does not exceed 30,000 pounds.0
