Dartcharge have taken months to write to me

Hi,

I have today received a fine for forgetting to pay, no problem, I will pay it.

However, this incident occured at the beginning of March.

I know when the police take longer than 14 days to notify you of a speeding offense that you can discard the fine as they haven't notified you in reasonable time.

I cant find anywhere on the Internet that tells you how long they have legally to notify you, does anyone know?

I have tried calling them on 0300 3000120 to ask, and guess what? Yes, they cut you off when you select option 4, or stay on hold. (I called from landline and a mobile to double check).

Absurd.

This board deals with Parking matters. I doubt anyone here can advise regarding DART matters.

Oh sorry, I thought I saw a whole bunch of other Dartford Tunnel Fine issues in this area...?

Can you advise me where best to post this thread?

I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
