I left the washing outside last night and fortunately it looks like nice weather so far.

Made bacon, egg and toast for me and older DD for breakfast and she has set off an hour ago for the conference./exhibition she is attending today and tomorrow.

Need to load dishwasher and did not get a chance to start paperwork yesterday as was meeting another dd to sort out medical info and treat her to a snack. Middle dd sent us some photos from Louisiana and Mississippi and seems to be relishing the experience.

If I get time I want to pop into York and take advantage of the dine in for £10 offer at MS (I still have some gift vouchers to use and this way I get more for the money).

Dishwasher needs loading but CBA right now.

Popped into local estate agents and the bungalow I thought of looking at has been sold but there should be one coming up for sale in the next couple of weeks. Have decided to tell myself I don't want to sell till autumn and just enjoy the garden etc if it is a good summer and not worry. As I used to say to DH "You just keep breathing, eating decent food, relaxing and taking your medication and let me do the worrying!"

Do you have any of the energy drinks that can be prescribed?

I used to make them into milk shakes for DH and they really helped.

The pound stores have reading glasses that might help a little.

Morning all,

Got back yesterday teatime from our week in Edinburgh. We had a fabulous time, DD's Wedding was perfect, even the weather. The house we had rented couldn't have been better and the Scottish people are just so nice :)
It was hard getting up early to go back to work this morning. DH and DS2 have gone off to work too. DD and Son in law (seems odd to write that) are sunning themselves in Santorini at the moment. Me jealous - nah! not a bit!

Must go to Aldi later to fill the fridge. That's the worst thing about going away isn't it?

I will try to catch up on all I have missed but hope everyone is ok :)

• Morning ((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs ))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Well! what goes round comes round!! I have just got OH back to something like normal and bingo last night his heart started doing funnies again, it was still erratic this morning, phoned and spoke to our GP, he is now back at LRI. Have tried phoning but cannot get through, blooming answer phone on.

Our GP has just called, boy is she different from the chap we had, had quite a chat to her.

I am now in a bit of a cleft stick, but not to worry will sort it out one way or another. As they say, no news is good news.

Afternoon all. I'm a late comer today as I never got on-line this morning. The 3 DGDs were all up ultra early so it was all systems go from the crack of dawn. The youngest seems to have recovered from her 24 hour bug and has gone back to school quite happily.

They are all due back for tea and another sleepover. DD and BF also staying for tea so 7 of us to feed tonight. I've made a large cheesy Bolognese bake ready to pop in the oven with some garlic bread and a veggie meal prepared for DD and me. (I'm not strictly veggie but do enjoy a lot of meat-free meals)

Did my weekly Ald* shop this morning (nice Super 6 selection this time, especially the Jersey Royals at 49p a bag) and then popped into Iceland next door for a few more bits.

Glad the wedding went well BUSISCOMING. I hope you have got some info at last Csarina and DH is ok. ((((HUGS)))) to anyone else in need. Take care xx

Kongs dropped on feet – ouch! Scampi brings his to me when he's managed to get the treat out, and wants to play ball with it – except because it's not an actual ball (the only thing he'll bring back to me when I've thrown it), I'm expected to go to him to fetch it :rotfl:
Ouch, indeed; specially as I always go barefoot at home!:D Thankfully, it's only a small Kong, and not one of the super-dense black ones for super-chewers!
Pippa's other favourite game is Tug, using her very noisy squeaky dumbbell toy. So being hearing impaired does have it's compensations!:rotfl:

Coming back to feet - I seem to have developed some sort of deformity with my left foot - there's a ruddy great gap between the 2nd and 3rd toes, that I never used to have. Mr LW thinks I may have broken a toe at some time, likely on one of the numerous occasions when I've caught my foot on the step stool, or the kitchen chair, or my own walking stick, but surely it'd have rendered me unable to walk if that had happened? Doesn't hurt though, or at least no more than it always has (ie for donkeys years) so I shall ignore it. Bit puzzling as to what caused it, though.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
• Docky's still got a puppy kong!!! and he likes it filled with those crispy cubes of compressed fish skin which pong like crazy, but then I'm not a lurcha, what do I know? Stupid human that I am!!!
