wrong credit card help

Good Morning everyone.


I hope that someone can help me sort out this problem. Earlier this month I took out a MBNA credit card, what I wanted to do with this card was to transfer my over draft which is or was in my bank account with the TSB. which was 4000.00. I thought I was asking for 36 months to pay it of , but what I got was a credit card limit of 4500.00, over 36 months and the over draft of 4000.00 to be repaid over 12 months. I got it the wrong way round. Is there any way that I can changer this or transfer to another account. I hope someone can help me , because I feel really stupid. I have had a card before to pay of my daughters wedding and this was the other way round. So I don't know how I could have got it so wrong.

Ask them. They may say yes, they may say no. That's really all there is to it.

Worst case scenario, you pay off as much as you can in the next 12 months, then reevaluate the situation then. Once the debt is all on the MBNA card, you can probably look at transferring it elsewhere next year, for another 0% period.
