Sorry to hear that, wiltslass. Here's the link for the form.

    http://www.landregistryservices.com/faqs/removal-of-a-joint-tenant.asp

The link provided takes you to a third party website UKLRS rather than the government website GOV.UK
Not a major issue when looking for a form but if you use their services say to search for property information (not the case here I know) you will pay a higher fee.

To register the death of a joint owner then form DJP should be used. The link includes a further link to the address to send it to along with a certified copy of the death certificate.

I have also added a link to the form AS1 which is used, along with probate, to transfer the ownership to beneficiaries. Added for others who may be viewing and in the situation for example where a sole owner has died.
In such cases the executor, as named in the probate, assents the property to the beneficiary using form AS1 and the other forms described in the guidance.

Note - if one of joint proprietors dies the surviving owner is the one who then deals with the legal title (property) even if they held it as tenants in common. Probate is not required in that situation even if the deceased's 'share' has been left to someone else.

No need to apologise - UKLRS advertise along with others on Google for example so will always appear 'top'. The forms will be the same but always useful to check elsewhere before buying any information if you are looking to save money
