ASDA cash back card

Options
I have to wonder why this card is not mentioned anywhere. I have been using a Capital One card for a couple of years but they are about to cease giving cash back and I have just spotted the ASDA cash back card which seems like a good deal - unless one of you knows better???

I have one used for weekly shopping and paid off in full each month. So far, since November I have gained £40 cash back.

It's a long way down that page, perhaps because it doesn't give MSE any cash back.

0.5% cashback (1% at Asda) makes it one of the best cards currently available. It deserves greater prominence in that article.

I've been using this since 2013 and have never had any problems with any aspect of the account.

1% cashback for purchases within the ASDA group of companies and 0.5% everywhere else. Interest rate for purchases (for me) is 19.9% but that doesn't matter because I clear the balance every month anyway - if I didn't, the cashback would be pointless.

I receive 0% balance transfer offers about twice per year.

Had one claim for a transaction I didn't authorise (about £75.00 to Argos - I never did learn whether it was in store or online) and Creation (the company managing the card on behalf of ASDA) provided a really excellent service and a prompt refund.

Check my previous posts where I wrote something similar to somebody else asking about it.
