Hi

My son desperatetly wants to go the the sea life centre in Brum, does anyone know how close the train stations are to it? and is there anywhere for us to have a picnic (true MSE, not going to buy anything there!).

Its abt a 15 min walk from the station, head towards the town hall/musesum.

as for somewhere to have a picnic, either on the canal, or by the conference centre, which you will pass to get there. There is also a "beach" by the musesum, where i have seen ppl eating.

You can also have a picnic in their by the otters
  • I have just printed off a voucher for kids go free from a site called
    www.benefits4u.co.uk
under the leisure bit of the site and you print off the voucher for the sea life centre for FREE!:j

PS if you finish early at the sea life centre have a trip on the cannel boat that leaves from gas street basin - its only about £2 and you get a 40 minute trip free tea or coffee and biscuits and a nice trip

Thank you very much for this, most vouchers I've seen just admit one child free, now I just need to pay for me!

    :rotfl:

I cannot find any prices either.

Just been wandering around their website for ages trying to find admission prices.

They also have a 'kids go free' voucher on their website that you can print off. :)

    www.sealifeeurope.com

then click on the 'kidsgo free' ticket in top right of page. :)

I know, I was on their website for ages thinking I was just being really stupid!

PS Do you think that using tesco vouchers counts as a full paying adult?

PPS I know it's pricey but it's that or Warwick Castle!

I think if you use your tesco vouchers then you wont be able to use the 'child free' voucher as usually you can use offers in conjunction with other offers.

I imagine the clubcard voucher may count as an offer.

I'd give them a ring and ask before you change up your tesco vouchers.

If they say yes make sure you take the name of the person you speak to in case someone else says no when you get there.

    I hope all that makes sense - I'm a bit of a waffler :o

We're were going on Wednesday to sealife but now we are going to Dudley Zoo instead. Its one zoo we've never been to and the forecast for wed is dry so far so fingers crossed its a reasonable day! :)
