Best shares for 'benefits'

Does anyone have any advice on shares that have good 'benefits' attached to them - I'm thinking like M&S who send shareholders spend and save vouchers even if you only have 1 share

See the likes of http://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shareholder-perks or https://www.share.com/find-investments/shares/shareholder-perks/ (or any other results from googling 'shareholder benefits'!)0

I have Mitchells & Butlers shares and get the annual book of 20% off vouchers (you could buy a few shares just before December to qualify).
Some of their pub chains are pretty good so you can save quite a bit per year if you were already going to be spending anyway.0 -
I had BA (now IAG) for their shareholder perk of 10% discount on fares. Saved me loads over the last decade or so since I bought them. they have just stopped it though, as they are going to start paying dividends again.
I have gotten my money back 4 times over since I bought them thru sales, and retained 250 to get the perks. These are now worth more than the orignal purchase cost as well and I am thinking of selling.
So dont just buy for the perks, buy if you think they could be a good investment. I bought them just after 9/11 when they were a penny share as I knew people would start flying again as I was already doing so (had to).0 -
Eurotunnel were offering 30% off fares for shareholders, not sure if it's still valid. Original shareholders got free travel.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

I bought BA shares for their perks, stupidly didnt read up enough about it and i wasnt eligible as they had stopped offering the benefit. Bought the minimum about required at the time and spent a couple hundred quid. ironically their share price has gone up 200% since i bought them. If only I had bought more!0

Note that at least one of the entries in the link aboce is out of date - Euro Disney shareholder club is currently closed to new members due to the on-going recapitalisation. hence make sure any info is up to date and valid etc
As others have said - only buy if you think its a decent investment rather than for small perks.0 -
100 Carnival shares gets you onboard spend on a lot of cruise ships (Cunard, P&O and lots of other liners). Bought them last year at around £22 per share - they are now around £32 a share. Have had loads of onboard spend too! Really worth considering if you are into cruising ;-)0
