I suspect the answer is yes. However, just for confirmation. I already have an external Freeview twin tuner with hdd. If I purchased a TV with built in Freeview tuner, as most are now, will everything work alright by not using the internal tuner but connecting my existing tuner to one of the SCART sockets of the TV?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

It should be fine.
Personally, i'd use the internal TV's tuner as a backup for when you're recording 2 different channels (if you can do that with your box) so that you can watch a 3rd0 -
Thanks ringo, I did think it would be o.k.
Unfortunately the "box" isn't that sophisticated. It can only record one channel. (80GB HDD, Digihome) In fact I'm thinking of upgrading that to a larger HDD and the 2 channel recording ability as I'm that impressed with the Digihome unit and wouldn't be without a HDD now.0 -
Can heartily recommend that you upgrade to a humax - it's the bomb (if you just search for humax on here you should find loads of threads where people say how great they are.
As to your original question, as ringo says - it should be fine.0
