Sky Wireless broadband

We're going the Sky BroadBand route 'cos it should save us a few pounds!

Is it possible to run the Sky box wired? Main PC doesn't have wireless connectivity and sits about 3 feet from the current modem, so wireless would be of no use! If we've got to go wireless, what would be the best option, buy from Sky (dongle - cost?) or buy from elsewhere?

Yes, it's a firmware modified standard Netgear wireless router with four Ethernet ports.

Thanks espresso, Sky don't make this clear, I Know a number of people who have purchased the wireless dongle when their PC is sat right by the phone socket!!
