holiday insurance for laptops and phones

My stepson is going away with his college for 3 weeks to greece as part of his course.
They want him to take his laptop as he'll need it but the college only cover damaged or lost goods to a value of £100
Does anyone know if you can get short term cover for laptops and possibly mobiles when going away?
Never had to get insurance like this before so would appreciate some advice thanks
