problem viewing photos from phone on laptop

windows 7 laptop ... plugged in samsung a3 to laptop to import pictures as usual ... ..
and then looks ok .. going to "start" .. then "pictures" ..opens "picture library" as usual ... and it shows the new folder from this import .. open that and it shoes the 20 + pics as expected .

Problem is ... when i click on one to open it .. the "picture" that opens is just a black blank . ... no actul picture to view .

Am needing to email various of them urgently .. but assuming that attaching & sending with email just means recipient will get same blank black photo ?

help !! ??

thanks

    Try this ..
RIGHT click on one of the pictures, and choose "open with..."
Then choose MS Paint as the application.

Do the pictures display correctly here ??
  • Andypix .... tried all the "open with" inc Paint .... all open as black / blank .

Ok so they are definitely bunk files, and not a problem with your OS ..

Seems like they have got corrupt during transfer.
First thing I would try is re-downloading them from your phone ..
It could just be a screwy one off ..

Do you have somewhere you could upload one to. or email me one and I will have a look at the file.
(No nude selfies though please lol)
