Defaults question

Could someone confirm why an account that I settled in 2012 would still be showing up as defaulted every month for the past 4 months? I have posted a screengrab below (with personal details removed).
I understand that a settled default is still a default, but it's not recorded any monthly defaults since 2012 and now suddenly they've popped up in the 'last 1-12 months' section (although does the 'last 1-12 months just refer from when the account was settled?). Also should it not say 'settled' somewhere?

Yes, it is the last x months on the account, not the last x months from now.
Defaulted accounts get marked as 'satisfied' instead of 'settled'.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks fermi- I was hoping that was the case!
Where would it be marked as 'satisfied'? Or is that just where it lists 'default satisfaction date'?0 -
Yes, that is where it should say that. Any potential creditor would pick that up for the account status.
Experian still show the last entry in the history as a 8, even when satisfied. That is just how they show these things on their reports, and that is what anyone checking would expect on a satisfied debt on Experian.
Other CRAs display things a little differently, but that is again just their convention.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
