self-catering in Ireland

Does anyone have any tips for finding a self-catering cottage in Ireland, possibly in the County Kerry area? There'll be 2 adults, and we'll arrive on a Friday, leave the next Thursday, so only 6 nights (is that possible, or will we have to book 7 and then just blow off one night?)


I've googled it of course, but there seems to be so many websites, I don't know where to start.

Pick a few towns and call the tourist office. They will usually be very informative and helpful.

They will also have details of places not on the agents lists.

I have some irregular breaks with them too, ie, have arrived on a Sunday, and left on a Wednesday, not the first Wednesday after the Sunday, but the next for example.
