My next door neighbour applied to our local council for the wet room (bought house) and they have sorted it all out for them. I am sure they didn't take 8 months to make a decision. Maybe someone at your local council could help you.

When my son needed a wet room, I think it took a few weeks for a decision, but several months before it was actually built. The whole process was, if I remember correctly, about nine months.

Outs was about 9 months as well, from start to finish we had ours done via a recommendation from the ot, then via a charity, when we had it was knock dividing wall down from loo to bathroom swop lol to the other side, ours took 2 weeks to do and we had to move out as no downstairs toilet xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I think it varies from council to council.

I waited 2 years (start to finish) with one authority, but people seem to get them done quicker in this area.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
