    This morning I have sold a book on Ebay for the grand price of £4.49 including postage which really surprised me but I'm happy! It was just a used paperback that you could get brand new for not much more on Amazon, but I guess on there they have the free delivery minimum spend. So that's a little bit more paid off the credit card, only £3.69 after fees though grr!

    all!

    Ooh good point, maybe eBay will be better for books now amazon has upped postage...

    Afternoon all!

    That's rubbish about the repairs Bob!

    Dad finished the bannister down the stairs and I think is doing the top bannister tomorrow. Just need him to let me know how much I owe him for the wood but will certainly be a lot cheaper than getting someone into do it! I'd be lost without my dad!

    Today I have/will:-
    * Check banks
    * Continue using up free foundation
    * Take lunch to work
    * Go for a walk at lunch
    * Check Mr A receipt friend gave me - 89p voucher!
    * Speak to brother re music for mum's party
    * Earn more on OnePoll
    * Earn more SBs
    * Book mum's birthday present (permission to kick me if this appears on my list again!)
    * Email boss re holiday dates (anyone would think I didn't want any days off!)
    * Dinner from stores - YS pie and potatoes that planned to have last night but ended up having YS kievs as lodger wasn't there and pie too big for two
    * Go round friends for free evening of entertainment
    * NSD?

    Think that's everything for today!
    Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
    Current debt - £5,935.00
    Total paid off - £9,665.89 (61% paid off)

    Looks like I'm on course for a NSD - popped to Boots to collect a free sample, into Virgin Lounge for a free brew and a read of In Style, and dropped my books back to the library. Nothing needed for dinner and straight home after work.

    Yes it is! But so far seems to have been mitigated. Had a good call with the workman when I got home & bottom line is they've stopped the leak now, and it sounds as though Im looking at extra costs of the plumbers time for about 2 hours, plus some relatively cheap parts. Could have been MUCH worse:eek:

    You are right about your Dad as well. My OH is handy, and he has saved us so much over the years. I have friends whose OH can barely manage to assemble a flat pack furniture, type thing. I dont find that very attractive, there I've dragged us all back 50 years :):rotfl:

    P.S have my boot at the ready just in case you forget your Mum:rotfl:

    Twiggy I was worrying for your life for a moment their as I was thinking of the boot of a car and Bob was planning to murder you, I thought this was an extreme reaction to you forgetting to book something for your Mum, realised Bob was talking the type of boot you wear on your foot :o well I think she was.
