HSBC v Experian hell

Hi ginergirl21,
I complained to HSBC about this and in their final response they said the following:
"Having referred this to to the relevant team, they have informed that due to a delay, information concerning March 2015 has yet to be updated with Experian. I have been assured that once this information has been successfully updated, your Personal Loan balance will reflect as XXXXX for that month.
I would advise you to monitor your credit report over the coming weeks...."0 -
I would be surprised if making the final payment on a personal loan would be the cause of a outright decline on a mortgage application. The application may well take take to process so you'd be better off starting the application asap.0

Hi Gingergirl21,
Unless information is incorrect most companies will usually only amendit as part of their normal monthly update.
I understand that your husband has already contacted us, and we will behappy to chase these emails up for you. We can then check the type of accounthe holds and see when the update should be coming through. He can email usdirectly at uksocialsupport@experian.com
I look forward to hearing for you so we can help further with this.
Regards
Neil

I mentioned that as at first seemed it may have been HSBC's error in not sending the normal update correctly, in which case a rapid update to correct that could have been appropriate.
Now seems it may be the case that the account settlement wasn't caught by the April update, and the May one is being slow to show, although may have bee sent and the delay be Experian's end? If so then a rapid update would probably not be the thing to do as delay is not HSBC end.
