ebay broken again?

I just logged into my private account and have a banner that says 'click here to receive 100 free listings - expires 19th May 2015 23.59'

I was a bit surprised as I had a day of free listings yesterday, but clicked to accept only to be told the offer has expired...

Is ebay broken yet again?

Probably. I got another "why won't you ship to my location" query and I had to explain that the EBay app for mobiles doesn't work properly and she would have to order on a laptop or pc

Upgraded to a featured shop yesterday as it is now cheaper due to the amount I have listed. I have had the grand total of three sales today :(

I haven't got that but I have a different issue. I go to purchase the postage in Ebay and it's taking me to my Paypal page. They don't do 2nd class post so no good to me

I had that postage problem today. Had 6 items to send, 5 went through eBay posting purchase with no problem, 1 kept sending me to the PayPal postage page. The only difference was that it was to Jersey, the rest mainland.

A featured shop- well done Charlie's mum.

I have been re watching the TV programme 'Del boys and dealers' and have such an urge to set off round the country to visit some new auctions. I've lost another of my big auction houses locally which is such a shame as I've bought loads there over the years.

I hoped a featured shop would give me more visibility, but maybe not. I watch Antiques Roadtrip and know a few of the 'celebrities' and it sometimes amazes me what they buy. I could definitely do better, and I am sure you could too.

I've bumped into a few when they have been filming at various auction houses, some of the stuff they turn up with amazes me. I can only assume that there are massive regional variations with what sells and where.

I have travelled around for different auction houses and I think the prices down south are cheaper than up North. I do still fancy giving Bolton a try though. I do have three new auction houses to try in the next couple of weeks so hopefully one of them at least might be a good one.

As for eBay visibility I've given up trying to guess what eBay are doing. I have a really brilliant weekend, around 40 sales, but down to just 4 today - antiques and collectables though seem to be very slow and most of my sales are my 'bread and butter' items which are boring .

Drop me a PM and let me know which you are thinking of visiting up North and I'll let you know if I know them.

Yes I had the same message, a bit sad as I was hoping to get some things relisted.

That has also happened to me every time I post anything to the channel islands, I think RM treat it as international postage so triggers the postage to open in paypal
