Identity Check

Hi All,

Hope I am in the right forum.

Recently I had an identity check done on me and was informed I have a redirect on my name which I was not aware of as I receive all my post.

I had this issue almost two years ago and was told by Royal Mail this is inaccurate, so I let this issue go.

However, this issue has come up again and I have contacted Royal Mail once yet again whom have said the same thing that I do not have a redirect on my name or current and previous address. They have provided a letter to this effect.

Does anyone know where else this issue could be if Royal Mail have confirmed in writing this is not accurate. Or should I make a complaint and request an investigation.

This is worrying even though I have received all email that I have expected and not.

Who has done the identity check on you? (a credit provider or similar?)


Have you checked copies of your credit files from the 3 agencies to see if anything unusual shows on any of them?

Hi Tixy,

It was potential financial accountant.

I have checked two which I do on a regular basis and there is nothing on there that I was not expecting.
