A car that has been blighting a Bradford city centre car park for two years
The car was reported to Bradford Council on January 6 this year by the NCP.
and more worryingly after 2 yrs
'We have put a notice on the car and will check with the DVLA to see if the car has a registered keeper.
'If there is a registered keeper we will write to them and give them seven days to respond
on the ball , arn,t they?
who owns the car park , Bradford council on NCP?0 -
Yes, sharp as a tack. If there was a sniff of a PCN they'd have been onto DVLA in 2 minutes not 2 years!Je suis Charlie.0

probably ANPR controlled , and so far , just a entrance , no exit recorded.
but you cannot prepare a bill until the car "signs" out0 -
Taken them 2 years to find out the registered keeper details. Way to go.0

but no actual offence has been committed?
the owner has agreed to the parking terms when he entered the car park , he has not broken any rules (yet)
who owns the car park , ncp or the council?0 -
Barrier-controlled pay-on-exit I'd imagine.Je suis Charlie.0

True, but the council is entitled to get rid of an abandoned vehicle after following the necessary procedure.Je suis Charlie.0 -
its parked up legally , they are saying abandoned
anyone know who the car park belongs to , if NCP , why are the council getting involved on private land?0 -
"Freddie the butcher" is due to be released in 6 weeks time , he is going to be awfully annoyed with NCP,
echo,s of a clamping case a few yrs ago?0 -
I imagine the council owns the car park, NCP often runs car parks for councils, they do some locally to me. In any case, councils can remove abandoned vehicles from private property at the landowner's request, but they might charge for it.Je suis Charlie.0
