Is it possible to get an electrictiy tarriff with zero standing charge on a prepay meter ?
This is for a holiday home only occupied about once every 3 months for a few days at a time so the current standing charges are higher than the electricity used.

I belive that Ebico are the only company that does this.
That said, no standing charges may* not be the best long term option - put the annual consumption into a switching site to check.
*Probably will be in this case.0 -
Yes, I think Ebico are currently the only supplier with zero standing charge for an electricity pre-payment meter.
But you can check for yourself using, for example, the Cheap Energy Club where you can filter results to include only those suppliers which offer a zero standing charge.
Or better still, leave the results unfiltered and choose the best supplier and tariff for you from the whole of market
Have you considered trying to get the PPM changed to a credit meter, which would open out a whole load of different, and probably beneficial tariffs? (unless it's Ebico where the price will be the same)
But at least you won't have to worry about running out of credit.0
