brocolli failed

ok i have added 6 of the 10 b&q brocolli into planters, the remaining are too small and have either been destroyed or put in small pots for them to get to size.
From the failed brocolli seedlings I have planted. 2 of them have sprung back to life and their leaves have grown a lot bigger so it's looking hopeful on that front.
They seem to have grown very slowly in the pots. maybe I should have planted them directly into the outdoor planters and they would have flourished.0
